Materials: an apron, the knife you use in your kitchen, and a pad & paper for note taking.
The last class in our 5-class series to start you off cooking at home. Sauces galore will cover awesome sauces to slather easy stir frys, bakes, and more! We’ll provide recipes for marinara, coconut curry, thai peanut, sesame & ginger, and yogurt & mustard marinade. Learn to whisk up a delicious sauce to make any meal more amazing!
We’ll also give pointers on grocery shopping efficiently, using all the food in your fridge, and teach knife and soaking skills to help you spend less time in the kitchen.
The last 30 minutes of class, we’ll eat and discuss our meal creations together. Students will be required to practice outside of class, keeping a food log. Cooking skills, like any other, must be practiced!
