Face it: condiments you buy in the grocery store are pretty gross. They are full of preservatives, food dyes, high fructose corn syrup, and countless other unpronounceables. But when you get to a basic recipe, all three of these condiments have relatively few ingredients and are fairly easy to make. Another bonus to making it yourself? The taste, of course! Not only does the homemade version taste better across the board, but you can also tailor it to your own preferences. Me? I like a tangier, brighter mayonnaise, so I add more lemon juice. I’ll show you how to make and then tweak mayo, mustard and catsup and then send you home with a sample of all three with recipes, all in time for grilling season.
